World is a better place without religion !

As we wake up to this huge challenge to our civilized values
            Don’t let forget the elephant in the room, an elephant called Religion.

When one person suffers from a delusion, it is called insanity. When many people suffer from a delusion it is called Religion and this religion is Man- Made poison, because the holy books haven't been sent from the sky by fax or e-mail , as everyone knows, religion is based on Faith, not knowledge.

Religion was invented so that humans could find an understanding for things they didn't understand

For example, 2000 years ago we didn't understand or could predict the rain, so we turned to religion and begged the gods for rain. Nowadays we don't understand yet if there is life after death, and because of that we still turn to religion.

It's a hangover from when people didn't know anything, it is when masses of people get together with a single inflexible spiritual belief and actively set out to ‘recruit’ as many people as possible

I agree religion has evolved since The Aztecs who had to tear open a human chest cavity every day just to make sure that the sun would rise.

Let’s say, If you were born in Mexico and you think Christianity is true and every other religion is false, knowing full well that you would think the exactly opposite if you had been born in Afghanistan. Every one of the worlds thousands of different religions claims to represent the only truth, which of course implies that all the other do not.

Imagine a world with no religion.

Imagine, no Crusades, no witch-hunts, no Indian partition, no Israeli/Palestinian wars, no Muslim massacres, no persecution of Jews as 'Christ-killers',  no honor killings', no public beheadings of blasphemers, No suicide bombers, no 9/11,No restriction on usage of condoms, No riots for a piece  of land, No more bloodshed saying “God told me”

·         Without religion people would be more concerned with what they did with their lives, rather think of afterlife and instead of praying for peace, they would work towards it.

·         Without religion many wars and borders would become irrelevant.

·         mankind would have progressed faster, if religion had kept it’s ugly nose out of scientific Endeavour

Statistically countries/populations that are less religious are more generous, have less crime and far more educated than the rest of the world.

YOU DON'T NEED RELIGION TO BE A GOOD PERSON.

Can't one use their common sense, and do we really need to believe in a supernatural judge to get such a simple rule as "treat others as you would like to be treated"?

Are you telling me you don’t rob murder or rape only because you are afraid of god?

With or without religion you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

The only angels we need invoke are: reason, honesty, and love. The only demons we must fear are those that lurk inside every human mind: ignorance, hatred, greed.

Overall the world would be unquestionably a better place where life is valued infinitely more.

Religion divides Perspective, Perspective divides the People and division causes War
